About Our Founder Analyer Medina, CSFA
I started and founded Superior Surgical Assisting in 2014, exclusively for Certified Surgical Assistants. After 2004 relocating to Central Florida from South Florida, I shortly found out that hospitals and surgeons did not recognize nor hire Certified Surgical First Assistants. Instead Physician Assistant were used to fill that role. I was then left with no other choice but to accept a position as a Certified Surgical Technologist as I worked on my vision of creating what Superior Surgical Assisting is today. I thank God for the setbacks. At that time I was a brand new Certified Surgical Assistant with minimal experience and I definitely needed a lot more. The 12 years that I worked at Advent Health Celebration, being part of Global Robotics Institutes Robot Team, and working with such talented surgeons gave me the experience and skills needed to provide those “Second set of Skilled Hands”! I was one of very few Certified Surgical First Assistants around. Many shut my vision down, a lot said that will never happen, but I believed in my vision and most importantly in Myself to make it happen.
Knowing and seeing that a decision I made to create my own path has inspired so many surgical techs to advance their careers and become surgical assistants makes me very proud to have found this company that helps many people in so many different ways.

For over 8 years Superior Surgical Assisting has provided skilled surgical assisting services to hospitals, surgery centers and surgeons improving patient safety and outcomes, Operating Room efficiency and reducing cost for facilities and patients.
